Emerson makes these by hand in their shop using NOS (New Old Stock) Mallory 470pf Capacitors wired in Parallel with a 220K Ohm Carbon Film Resistor. The use of a Treble Bleed helps to retain clarity on the highness frequencies when rolling down the volume pot. This also helps to make the taper feel more natural.
